Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department We provide fire fighting, extrication, specialized rescue, fire police, and emergency medical servi

The men, women and families of the Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department proudly protect over 2,000 people living in an area of roughly 1-square mile. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. We are a public department, serving on a voluntary basis, and provide comprehensive fire fighting, extrication, specialized rescue, fire police, fire prevention education and basic

life support emergency medical services to the Village of Blasdell. Our members also assist and aid in various recreational activities held in the Village. The department currently maintains a fleet of three fire engines, an ambulance and a Chief's command vehicle. Please visit our website at www.BlasdellFire.com for more information about our organization and to find out how you can become a volunteer firefighter or EMT.

From Blasdell Fire Chief Jared Bengert:

There is no truth to the rumor being spread by someone, please read the below.

The Village of Blasdell Board of Trustees meets the third Wednesday of each month. If you want to hear what’s happening in the Village please attend the meetings. Please don’t buy into the lies and mistruths spread by those with their own agenda. In no way, shape, or form have there been any talks of dissolving the Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department. The Fire Department may be small but it has many dedicated volunteers who love to serve our community.
