A few pictures from Memorial Day 2018.

In memory of many. In honor of all.

Each year our small town Legion Auxiliary and other volunteers raise the flags at the Blockton cemetery. The beauty unfolds as each flag is set in memory of many local heros. I don't know them all, but owe them all. Happy Memorial Day!

Memorial Day in Blockton - We Still Remember!
While Covid19 restrictions have canceled the Alumni Banquet and the services at Rose Hill Cemetery, and while weather has prevented the display of the flags this year we can still honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom.
Worship time at Blockton Christian Church will include some moments of remembering and reflection. You can view this time on the Blockton Christian Church FaceBook page beginning at 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
This list of veterans buried at Rose Hill will be read during this time. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1b4_RdWXcSiFFQgKNeI6gF2ZiBEP99ffdjtFF0Ay6E3U/edit?usp=sharing
