A NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday June 25, 2026, at the Town Hall Located at 99 Main Street, Bloomfield, New York. This hearing will be conducted by the Zoning Board, for the Village of Bloomfield.
Variance request, property located at 21 Bennett Ave, in the Village of Bloomfield, Bloomfield Meadow Apartments Owner Rochester Management Tax Map # 68.17-1-26.100 is applying for an Expansion to a Non-Conforming Structure/Use which includes prior approved setback to rear. Variances include Lot Coverage and Parking Relief.
Anyone interested in this matter is welcome to attend the hearing and express opinions at that time.

Memorial Day Parade Monday @ 11:00am

Any veterans wishing to be in the Memorial Day Parade please reach out to the Village office through Facebook, Email or Call 585-657-7554 and let us know. You can leave a message. We will have the Kanandaique (Canandaigua) Corvette Club offering rides or you can walk behind the Honor Guard. Please help us spread the word.

The Village office has had numerous complaints. As a reminder, E-bikes are NOT permitted on any Village sidewalk.

Update: the water break is fixed.

There is a water Main break on East Main St. Crew is working to restore as quickly as possible.

Update: repair has been made.

We are aware of a water main break in the Church Street area and are working to restore water service ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

8:30 pm update: One lane on Oakmount Ave is closed for the night due to flooding. Please use caution ⚠️

Update: As of 1:00 the road is open back up.

Due to severe flooding a portion of Oakmount Ave near the school is closed temporarily.

The Village office hosted Congressman Joe Morelle on Tuesday as he honored some local Vietnam Veterans in a pinning ceremony.
