Bloomfield(NJ) Open Space Trust Fund The meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) in the 2nd floor conference room of the police building.

Since covid the meetings are held on ZOOM. The township passed the municipal open space referendum in 2001. Similar to the state Green Acres program, homeowners contribute 1/2 penny per $100 of assessed value to a fund to purchase land for open space. This amount to about $30 annually on average for homeowners. The township acquired the 5 acre Desimone property in 2012, the first open space purc

There are so many great reasons to compost and it can be so easy! We are currently selling Farmer Shaun's favorite home composter which he loves because it takes very little maintenance and it helps him keep waste out of landfills. Whether you have a garden or not, this is a wonderful way to help the environment. The last day to order a composter with us is April 25th, so be sure to check it out if you're interested.
