April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month! In 2022, there were over 550,000 substantiated cases of child abuse and neglect in the United States. In September of 2022, there were over 360,000 children foster care. These children need stable, nurturing relationships to help them heal and thrive. CASA volunteers play a crucial role in advocating for these children, ensuring they have the support and resources they need. Today is the final day to get your orders in for Tulip Tuesday. All orders will be ready for pickup/delivery on April 1st, 2025. See flyer below to place your order and we are happy to help with any questions! All proceeds go Voices for Kids which is the fundraising arm for CASA. CASA serves children that have been abused/neglected in Greene County and are involved in the court system with the Department of Child Services. CASA advocates for the children and what is in their best interest!

Tulip Tuesday is back this year! Help support the children of Greene County that are involved in the juvenile court system that has been affected by abuse or neglect. All orders are due March 6, 2025 and Tulip Tuesday will be held on April 1, 2025.

We are all ready to go for the Voices for Kids Silent Auction tomorrow! Thank you to everyone that donated to make this event great tomorrow. We have a lot of very nice items and you can get some Christmas shopping done early while supporting a great cause! Come by and check it out tomorrow at the Greene County Courthouse, silent auction is located on the first floor in the Magistrate Courtroom from 9am - 3pm.

We are still in need of gift basket to auction off at our silent auction on December 6, 2024 ! The courthouse is closed...

We are still in need of gift basket to auction off at our silent auction on December 6, 2024 ! The courthouse is closed November 28 and 29 to observe Thanksgiving so we will accept gift baskets until December 4, 2024! Thank you to all businesses that have donated to the CASA program so far! All funds raised will go directly to the children of Greene County that have been abused or neglected and involved in the welfare system.

I had the pleasure of honoring this fantastic group of volunteers this evening! Thank you Vicki Halt and Blake Burch on all of your help in getting this appreciation dinner put together! I am grateful for each volunteer who make a difference in the lives of children who have been abused/neglected. Thank you to Judge Allen for joining us and supporting the program. Thank you to the ladies of the Presbyterian church who prepared a delicious meal for us. Lastly, congratulations to Maebell McCafferty for her dedication of 30 years to the program!!
