It was great having students from Thomas Nelson High School in Bloomfield for their Generals Serve Day. These young men worked very hard pressuring washing, cleaning, etc at City Hall and even washing fire trucks for the Northeast Nelson Fire Department. We really appreciate their dedication to community service and the school for thinking of us when they host this event.

Attention Bloomfield Water customers:

With the severe weather moving in starting tomorrow and the frigid temps projected for next week, we are strongly urging each customer to leave all faucets inside your home running with a slow steady drip. This will ensure a greater chance of your water lines not freezing or busting.

We also ask that each customer check their meter box to make sure their lid to that meter is closed and not currently damaged. This will help the chances of that meter not freezing. If your lid is damaged at this time, we ask that you cover your meter box with something that would keep the cold air or freezing rain from reaching inside and then contact the Bloomfield Water Company to get a replacement lid ordered. You can reach them at 502-252-8222.
