The City of Bloomfield is currently working on its Comprehensive Plan, a roadmap that will guide future growth, development, and investment in the community for years to come.

We’re asking for your input! Residents, business owners, and community partners are invited to take a few minutes to complete the Bloomfield Comprehensive Plan Community Survey. Your feedback will help shape priorities for land use, housing, economic development, transportation, infrastructure, parks, and more.

👉 Take the survey here: https://mrpcsurveys.typeform.com/BloomfieldPlan

Please share this survey with others in your network to help ensure broad community participation. The more input we receive, the stronger and more representative the plan will be. Thank you for helping shape the future of Bloomfield!

The Bloomfield Chamber shares the news with deep sadness the loss of Mayor Bill Aslin. He was a dedicated public servant whose impact on the city will be felt for generations to come.

Throughout his time as Mayor, Aslin was committed and had an unwavering support for both the Chamber and the community. Throughout his time in office, he worked tirelessly to strengthen local partnerships, supported small businesses and promoted growth and opportunity within Bloomfield.

Mayor Aslin's passion for his city was evident in everything he did. Whether attending community events or helping guide the future of Bloomfield, he remained a steady and caring presence.

He was a friend to many - someone who was approachable, compassionate, and deeply invested in the well-being of others. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive changes he helped bring to the community.

The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Janice, his family and friends during this difficult time.

Bloomfield City Hall - Today, we honor and thank Mayor Bill Aslin for his many years of service to the people of Bloomfield. Bill gave a big part of his life to this city. He worked hard for the people of Bloomfield, and because of that, our community is better today. I was grateful to learn from him over the past two years—he was a mentor to me and to many others. His impact will be felt for years to come. I’m praying for his family during this time. Bill left us with big shoes to fill.
