As changes in our world continue to push people outside of their comfort zones, businesses and nonprofits that are pivoting to a digital-first marketing strategy have been able to survive and even thrive in the transformed marketplace.

Those one-time “nice-to-dos” when it comes to online marketing are now a necessity. Digital channels are often the only way to stay connected to customers 24/7. In a typical year we could talk about emerging trends in technology or marketing, but we learned in 2020 that the best intentions, technology and trends don’t mean much when we aren’t prepared for the unexpected.

Summer 2021 is the time for SEMO small businesses and nonprofits to look back and make a plan for moving forward.

The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Kim Paul, Digital Strategist On Bloomfield Avenue to bring marketing trainings and workshops to Stoddard County. Kim spent 2020 working with small businesses and nonprofits to help them make the best use of digital marketing tools and learned what they were doing to power on.

Join us for this Marketing Workshop, where you’ll learn how to close the gaps between your business and your customers:

• The Focus Gap – Building a Bridge with a Promotional Calendar
• The Communication Gap – #1 Digital Marketing Strategy to Stay in Touch and Top of Mind
• The Unexpected Gap – Preparing for Uncertainty with Simple Actions to Thrive in 2021

There has been much talk about this piece of equipment lately. What happened to the slide!?! 😮

We recently discovered that the slide had cracked down a good portion of its length and had become unsafe to play on. The decision was made to remove the slide and board up the end to keep anyone from falling off.

No worries!! We have plans in the works!! We are hoping to replace not just the slide but the whole piece of equipment with grants and fundraising!

This piece of equipment has been through a lot of years and a lot of memories for many of us in the community. It has definitely served its purpose!
