The RSS ESSEX team got together yesterday and played some backyard football! It was the last pool function for and we wish him the best in his future endeavors!

SSgt Kappos has changed so many lives and gave the opportunity to many individuals from Essex County to become part of The Few, The Proud, The Marines.

The transformation from civilian to Marine starts at RSS ESSEX and we welcome anybody who accepts the challenge and to become a part of this family! 🦅🌎⚓️

The American Dream

Pfc. Higor Desouza, who graduated with Papa Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion on Nov. 5, 2021, reflects on his life in Brazil and his drive to become a United States Marine. Desouza joined the Marine Corps to show his appreciation to the United States for accepting him and giving him a new opportunity in life.

It’s easier to hold yourself back from progressing then it is to stand out and pave your own way.
