Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of celebrating you— our members! We had a great time connecting with each of you and hope you and your families had a fun day of playing carnival games, entering raffles, watching our demonstrations, and soaking up the sunshine.

Only one week away from Member Appreciation Day! Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10 AM – 3 PM.

Bring the whole family and try your hand at our various carnival games and turn them in for prizes at our prize booth.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, John Armstrong, on May 16, 2026. John served as Director of Human Resources for UDWI and Hoosier Heritage Management since 2020 and was a valued part of our cooperative family.

John was known for his kindness, compassion, and the genuine care he showed to others every day. He was warm, thoughtful, friendly, and always willing to listen or lend support to those around him. He made people feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Outside of work, John loved spending time with his husband, Radovan Hajek, and his daughter, Faye Favors, who meant everything to him. Family was important to John, and that love showed in the way he lived his life and treated others.

John’s presence will be deeply missed throughout UDWI, Hoosier Heritage Management, and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory and the kindness he shared with others will not be forgotten.

Please keep John’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
