School is back in session tomorrow. Please give yourself extra time to get to your destination safely! You MUST stop for pedestrians in crosswalks - It’s the Law.

Whether you’re a driver or a pedestrian, we remind you to PUT THE PHONES DOWN.

Please remind your kids to pay attention while they’re walking. It is a common sight to see kids walking with their heads down in their phones. It is unsafe for them and for others. Let’s work together to keep Bloomfield a safe place to live and work.

The Township of Bloomfield is seeking interested contractors for work related to its Home Improvement Program (HIP). Preference will be given to qualified contractors who are Bloomfield residents.

Work under the program will include renovations and improvements to residential properties. Eligible improvements include, but are not limited to:
*Heating and cooling
*Electrical
*Plumbing, including wells and septic
*Roofing and gutters
*Siding
*Windows and doors
*Insulation
*Load-bearing structural systems

Income limitations and certain program restrictions apply.
To be eligible to perform work under the program, contractors must meet the following requirements:
*Three (3) references for general contracting jobs completed in New Jersey within the last three (3) years.
*Workers’ compensation insurance coverage and liability insurance of at least $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury or death and $50,000 for property damage.
*Appropriate license(s) from the State of New Jersey, including a Home Improvement Contractor license, as applicable.

After careful consideration, we feel it is in the best interest of our vendors, residents, and everyone involved to cancel today’s market.

Pre-registration opens Tuesday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. Only 55 campsites are available, so don't wait!
Please note: Movie-only attendees do not need to register, only overnight camping.
