Eastern Heights will begin hydrant flushing in Bloomfield and Worthington on Monday (April 20). You may experience lower than normal water pressure and discolored water during this time. Flushing in the rural areas will be done in the following weeks.
Flushing is done every 6 months to remove sediment that builds up over time. It is also when we check our hydrants for proper operation and plan future maintenance and repairs.
