On Tuesday, May 19, Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance, along with our emergency service partners, responded to a tragic structure fire on Blue Hills Avenue. BVA provided medical support, patient care, and firefighter rehabilitation services for crews operating under challenging conditions.
Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this devastating incident. We are grateful for the coordinated efforts of the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and mutual aid partners who worked tirelessly on the scene.

Bloomfield Ambulance has established a partnership with Amplify, an organization dedicated to connecting individuals and families with resources related to mental health, addiction recovery, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Stickers displaying contact information for those seeking assistance have been placed in all our ambulances.
Not all 911 calls result in transport to the hospital. Sometimes, what a person needs most is guidance and hope. By offering these resources during our interactions, Bloomfield Ambulance can provide emergency care and ongoing support.
