Get ready to make the first day of September an A+! September 1st Bloomfield Farmer's Market Vendor List! 🎒✏️

Pack your bags and pencil in some fun! 📓 Stop by our market on Tuesday, Sept. 1st, from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm at 90 Broad St (Library Courtyard). Don't miss out on local vendors, live & hands-on science experiments by Nutty Scientists, blood pressure screenings, 5pm library craft, honey jar raffles, and more! Market cash will be available for qualified residents. Please note there will be no Toni's Kitchen sandwiches 9/1 or 9/8.

This resident-favorite free event gives families the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor movie (Disney’s Zootopia 2) under the stars and camp overnight at one of our local parks! During the event, residents can make s’mores around a campfire supervised by the Bloomfield Fire Department and enjoy free popcorn.

Each camping group must be pre-registered and include a responsible adult, age 18 or older, who will remain at the campsite overnight.

The next morning, Hot Bagels Abroad will provide free bagels, coffee, and juice for campers.

Pre-registration begins Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM Online at www.bloomfieldrecreation.org

Only 55 campsites are available, and sites will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for this event fills up very quickly, so set your alarm for 9:55 a.m. on September 1 and be ready to register at 10:00 am. If registration is full when you attempt to register, please be sure to join the waitlist.

Residents who would like to watch the movie but do not plan to camp overnight do not need to pre-register. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the movie! Once the movie concludes, however, all non-campers will be kindly asked to leave the park so that registered camping groups can enjoy their overnight experience.

Registration for our next community open art studio drop-in is open! 🎨

Be sure to join us for our next drop-in on Saturday, September 26, from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm at the Bloomfield Civic Center, 84 Broad St. This month's session will feature a live model! Registration is $15 and is open online via www.bloomfieldrecreation.org. For more information, please call 973-743-9074.

Come join us to paint, draw, collage, doodle, or design! This is dedicated time and community space in which to make art. Tables, seats, and a limited supply of materials will be available. Event administrators will be on-site to offer guidance and feedback, but otherwise it is a free-form environment.

Make sure to join us for Monday Night Music at the Oakeside Cultural Center on Monday, August 31, at 7:00 pm 🎵 There are limited spots remaining, and pre-registration is required via www.bloomfieldrecreation.org.

We are in our 4th season of our extremely popular Monday Night Music Concert Series. Concerts start at 7:00 pm and take place the last Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted). Immediately following there will be a meet and greet with the performers along with dessert, coffee, and tea!

Pre-registration is required and can be done starting on the 1st of each month via www.bloomfieldrecreation.org and there are limited spots available for each concert. While there is no cost, donations will be graciously accepted at the time of registration.
