Why join Pack 173?

Every Cub Scout Pack follows the same Scouting America program. Every Pack works toward the same ranks, teaches the same values, and helps Scouts grow.

The difference is how each Pack brings that program to life.

At Pack 173, we believe Cub Scouting should be filled with adventure, friendships, and experiences that families remember for years.

With 33 Scouts (hopefully more this year!) and a dedicated Den Leader for every Den, our Pack works hard to provide a quality program where every Scout has the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow.

This past year, our Scouts:
🏕️ Camped more than 100 nights as a Pack
🥾 Hiked over 300 miles in total
🤝 Completed multiple community service projects
⭐ Had 100% of our Scouts earn their rank
🍿 Sold over $60,000 in popcorn, with proceeds and donations helping provide opportunities throughout the year

One of the things we are most proud of is making sure cost doesn't have to be the reason a Scout misses out. Through the hard work of our Scouts, families, and supporters, Pack 173 is able to provide meaningful experiences for families of all backgrounds.

From campouts and caves to STEM activities, Pinewood Derby, resident camp, swimming, museums, parades, service projects, and so much more—Pack 173 is about giving Scouts the opportunity to experience everything Cub Scouting has to offer.

Our Scouts take pride in wearing the uniform, representing Pack 173, and being part of a group that works hard, serves others, and supports each other.
