The Blooming Prairie Branch Library will be closed this coming Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. We will be back open regular hours on Tuesday, May 26. We hope everyone has a fun and safe 3-day weekend!

Get your shopping shoes ready! Our storage closets are so full of used books for the sale that they're overflowing into the library! Sales starts tomorrow, May 15, at 10:00am! More details on the Friends of the BP Library Used Book Sale event page. City-wide sale maps are available at the library.

This week's storytime theme is "pizza" 🍕 ALL are welcome to join Ms. Bethany at 10:00am on Tuesday but be warned, this one might make you hungry!

Then on Friday and Saturday we need YOUR help clearing our storage space so come check out our Friends of the Library Used Book Sale! Gently used books, movies, and CDs will be available for a free will donation and all the money that the Friends make from the sale funds their support of the Library!

THANK YOU everyone who came out this weekend, either to the Friday Social or the Saturday Picnic - or both! - and helped us celebrate our 50th Anniversary as the Blooming Prairie Branch Library! We'll be keeping the celebration going throughout the rest of the year, so be sure to keep an eye out for more fun events coming up!
