The Bloomingdale Fire Department has installed 'Firefighter Parking Only' signs at the Bloomingdale Firemen's Hall to enhance service delivery. Due to increased traffic from various events, meetings, municipal court sessions, and school bus stops at the Firemen's Hall and Municipal Complex, we have designated specific parking spots for our volunteers. These reserved spots enable our firefighters to respond promptly and safely in the event of a fire call without obstructing other vehicles. Additionally, please note that both sides of the driveway and the area in front of the apparatus bay doors are designated as Fire Lanes and No Parking Zones. Your cooperation in adhering to these regulations is appreciated as we strive to protect our community.

Yesterday we welcomed a few friends to the firehouse for their Community Based Instruction (CBI) field trip! We showed them the fire trucks, talked about fire safety and got to answer so many great questions.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this trip happen and we had a great time teaching about the fire service and explaining ways for everyone to stay safe and how to get help if they ever need it.
