Essex County, NY – Household Hazardous Waste Days
Essex County hosts Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Days throughout the year, allowing residents to safely dispose of hazardous materials at designated sites. These events are open to all Essex County residents (no businesses) and require proof of residency (driver’s license, tax bill, or utility bill) Essex County, New York+1.

July 18 – Lake Placid

Time: 8 AM – 1 PM

July 25 – Elizabethtown

TOWN OF ST. ARMAND
TOWN COUNCIL POSITION VACANCY
The Town of St. Armand is seeking qualified applicants to fill a vacancy on the Town Board.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the Town of St. Armand. Preferred qualifications include a commitment to public service, a willingness to dedicate the time necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, familiarity with the Town of St. Armand, and an interest in or experience with local government.
Responsibilities include:
• Attending evening Town Board meetings
• Reviewing and authorizing payment of Town bills
• Participating in the adoption of local laws and ordinances
• Assisting with the development and oversight of the annual Town budget
• Representing and serving the interests of Town residents
The annual salary for this position is $6,268.00.
