The Van Buren District Library has been informed of some changes coming to Libby and Kanopy which we want to inform our patrons of. Starting soon, patrons will need to verify their accounts using their library pin number alongside their card number. This includes patrons already using these services.

If you do not know your library account pin number, contact your local branch and they will be happy to assist you!

We are partnered with the Gerald R Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids to offer FREE admission for up to 6 people per pass. Each branch will have one pass available each month and it is first come first serve. We still have our pass at the VBDL Bloomingdale Branch for September for any patron interested.

A quick glance at what's coming up this week at the VBDL Bloomingdale Branch! Reminder that we will be closed on Saturday, September 5th and Monday, September 7th for the upcoming holiday. We will also be returning to our weekly Story Time and starting up a new weekly program called Homework Hooligans! This program is for students who need some help with their homework or maybe just need a welcoming place to come and study/do their homework.
