A technology start-up developing an online platform featuring tele-health tools and games designed to achieve therapy outcomes for physical and cognitive functioning. WellPlay Health is a recently formed LLC seeking angel funding to support the next eighteen (18) months of development for WellPlay: Rehab. By the end of this period, we will have developed a targeted solution both designed and teste
d with our clinical partners, the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) and the Indiana VHA System (IN-VHA). Further, it is our plan to develop this solution to the point that it becomes a marketable product. Activity to date includes the development of a prototype application funded in part March 2012 by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. This prototye consists of one level of a rehabilitation game and a therapist interface presenting data captured from game play. On June 18, 2012, we demonstrated to both RHI and IN-VHA the prototype’s ability to (1) generate meaningful data during game play and (2) to efficiently and intuitively present game play data to the therapist. Each party offered positive reviews and valuable feedback that will be incorporated into the design. In July 2012, WellPlay Health was selected to present our company and our prototype at the 2012 Indiana Innovation Showcase.
