Figured it was time for a re-introduction with all the new faces around here!

I’m K9 Indy, an explosive detection canine for the Indiana University Police Department, and this is my handler, Officer Rob Botts. We’ve been partners for almost 8 years now, working side by side on campus and in our community.

I am officially requesting cooler weather. ☀️

Some of my favorite ways to stay cool in the summer are taking a swim and drinking plenty of fresh water in my patrol vehicle. My handler also regularly checks the vehicle’s heat sensors to make sure they’re working properly and keeping me safe on hot days.

Until the temps drop, you can find me at the lake. 🐾
