Templeton Elementary School The Templeton Elementary Community is committed to the development of inquiring, knowledgeable, caring and globally minded learners.

Templeton Elementary is located in the heart of Bloomington, Indiana and is part of the Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC). Templeton serves students ages 3-13 (preschool-grade 6) in brain-compatible, multi-age, looping and single grade classroom structures that are focused on meeting the needs of all children.

In the August episode of School Voices, we want to share our gratitude with our talented MCCSC teachers and our generous community. Tune in to learn how our teachers are invested in our students, and how our community is invested in our schools.

Hear memorable student experiences, from music composition to catching tadpoles, plus teacher shout-outs and how preschool and pre-K are making a difference for families!

We’ll also highlight how public support for the MCCSC 2023 referenda expanded family access to preschool and pre-K to help more students be ready for kindergarten.

Attend our Elementary School “Meet and Greet” event Tuesday, August 4, 2026 (Day before school) from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at All MCCSC Elementary Schools. Preschool and Pre-K programs are included in the event.
