Normandale Hills Elementary PTA Normandale Hills PTA supports the families, teachers, staff and students at Normandale Hills elem.

The Purposes of the Normandale Hills Elementary PTA, in common with those of the National PTA and the Minnesota PTSA, are:

a. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community;

b. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth; and

c. To develop between educators and

the general public such united efforts as will secure for all students the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education. The organization is organized exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

At Normandale Hills Elementary in Bloomington, music teacher Jeff Zupfer is helping students navigate a difficult school year through songs focused on joy, resilience and belonging.

It’s a bright spot, considering this school year was marked by several events that weighed heavily on students and families, including a shooting at the Annunciation Church and School and increased immigration enforcement across the Twin Cities.
