Hoosier Community Network

Hoosier Community Network We empower students to lead economic development and promote prosperous communities at home and abroad.

While Indiana University students arrive from across the world in pursuit of a wide range of scholarship, all students share a common passion: impact. Whether in the classroom or in the community, Hoosiers constantly work to improve the world around them. The Hoosier Community Network began as the natural result of students striving to achieve this goal together. Incepted by Kelley School of Busin

ess's Professor Keith Dayton in 2015, HCN serves as a vehicle for students to apply classroom knowledge to practical initiatives. While originally launched as a small independent study, the organization's success spurred students to tackle a wider range of initiatives from management consulting to microfinance to economic development and more. Mentored and sponsored by faculty and community members, IU's best and brightest now use HCN to transform their visions into tangible outcomes at the local, national, and international level. As HCN continues to grow, we welcome the bold, the brave, and the ambitious with open arms. We know that those who believe they can change the world are the ones that do, and we will continue to empower those types of students to leave their mark in the universe.
