Member Spotlight: Luke Snyder

Luke Snyder, our incoming Vice President, is serving as a Finance Intern with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, where he works on financial analysis, public accounting, and constituent outreach while gaining valuable experience in public service and state government.

“As someone who is deeply passionate about public service, my experience with the Office of the Attorney General has been tremendously rewarding. The welcoming office culture has helped me grow in a multitude of ways, and I’ve enjoyed learning from the incredibly talented people around me each day. I can’t recommend the program enough for students who are eager to serve their state while building valuable professional experience.”

We’re proud to see Luke representing IU College Republicans both on campus and in state government. His dedication to public service and leadership reflects the values of our organization, and we’re excited to see all he’ll accomplish as our incoming Vice President!! 🇺🇸

📢 PRESS RELEASE

As Republicans, we say we believe in limited government, fiscal responsibility, transparency, accountability, and local control.

That is why the Monroe County Republican Party supports allowing the Ellettsville/Richland Township reorganization proposal to continue forward to public referendum.

Voters deserve the chance to read the proposal, ask questions, weigh the facts, and make the final decision themselves at the ballot box.

That should not be controversial. That is how representative government is supposed to work.

Too often, people show up, speak out, ask serious questions, and still feel like decisions were already made without them. This process gives the public a real opportunity to be heard and to decide for themselves what is best for their future..

🗳️ Let the voters decide.
🏛️ Respect the process.
✅ Keep the decision with the public.

Being Press Secretary for the Indiana University College Republicans has been one of the best parts of my time at IU.

It’s been an honor to help grow this account, share our message, cover events, and capture so many unforgettable moments over the past few years.

Beyond the experience itself, I’m especially grateful for the friendships and memories this club gave me over the past year and a half.

Thank you to everyone who supported our organization along the way. I am forever grateful for this experience.

What a wonderful evening of conversation and connection!

Members of our club attended the inaugural Indiana Political Union networking event alongside IU College Democrats, bringing students together across perspectives. The event was hosted by our Executive Director, Hamza Sahli, in partnership with the Indiana Political Union. It featured State Representative Dave Hall, Monroe County Commissioner Jody Madeira, and Bloomington Mayor Kerry Thomson, along with local leaders from across Monroe County and Indiana.

It was a great opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion, hear from community leaders, and build connections that go beyond party lines. 🇺🇸
