The Township has changed the location of the Special Meeting to the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts (BCPA). Same date & time.

There is a Special City of Bloomington Township Meeting scheduled for Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 6 PM at the BCPA.

All registered voters of the City of Bloomington Township are invited to vote on adding the following non-binding questions to the November ballot:
1. Should the City of Bloomington repeal the added 1% grocery tax implemented by the Bloomington City Council to provide relief for families?
2. Should the United States federal government ban the transfer of weapons to any country that is a dictatorship, apartheid state, or major violator of human rights?
3. Shall the City of Bloomington implement a moratorium on the creation of any large-scale data centers?

The City of Bloomington Township is roughly contiguous with the City of Bloomington. A small portion of city residents are not township residents. Check the following website to determine whether you are a Bloomington township resident: [https://ova.elections.il.gov/RegistrationLookup.aspx](https://ova.elections.il.gov/RegistrationLookup.aspx)
