We would like to thank the Mighty Mississippi Mopars for their generous donation!

This past weekend we presented a donation check of $1,500 to the Bloomington Fire Department. We know they’ll put it to good use.

Low relative humidity combined with winds and sunny conditions will cause elevated fire risk later today. Burning permits have been suspended in the DNR Extensive Fire Control Area (most areas north of Highway 18 + Wyalusing Township). Current burning restrictions can be found at the following link https://apps.dnr.wi.gov/wisburn/ #/BurnRestrictions, which is updated daily around 9am.

Tonight the Bloomington Fire Department had our annual Christmas party. We recognized members who had many years of service.
40 years: Tom Hoffman.
35 years: Larry Gates.
10 years: Steve Dilley and Adam Guthrie(not pictured).
5 years: Emily Struntz, Kyle Adrian, and Riley Quick.

We also would like to congratulate Brad Klein as firefighter of the year!

A special thanks is offered to our men and women in the military, First Responders, medical heroes and to our many other professionals who dedicate their skills, energy, and work on this holiday for our safety and protection!

Our first responders, police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, healthcare professionals and EMS will sacrifice their family day so ours will be enjoyed in the confidence that we are protected.
