Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. In a world where the population of older adults is predicted to more than double by 2050 to about 2 billion, and where one study estimated 15.7% of people aged 60 years and older were subjected to some form of abuse, it's up to all of us to recognize and report elder abuse.
