HESS WINS OVER WILSON
Glenn Hess easily won reelection over his opponent , Greg Wilson. Wilson had been Hess’ number two until this year when he decided to run against his former boss. Hess won with 58.06% of the vote to Wilson’s 41.94%. During this campaign cycle, the race got heated and personal as the two argued over who was responsible for the increase in wins at the States Attorney’s Office, since they were the top two. Wilson went negative with his ads, touting his supposedly “A” rating from the NRA and claiming Hess had an “F” rating. Hess a decorated Vietnam Veteran stayed positive and focused on his achievements while in office. Hess will retain his position as the 14th Judicial State Attorney for another four years.
