Due to various unfortunate circumstances we will NOT be performing our Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 11. However, we would like to honor Blountville Middle School with these performances of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “Tiger Fight Song.” 🐅🎶🎷🎺🥁💙💛

Luke is a former BMS band member. We’re so proud of you! 🐅🏴‍☠️🎶

Today we continue our recognition of the Spring 2021 graduates that participated in the Spring Semester football band. We thank them for their years of dedication to the Marching Bucs and ETSU, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

Luke Fox is from Blountville, Tennessee, and will graduate with a degree in Instrumental Music Education. Throughout his four years with the Marching Bucs, Luke played mellophone and served as a section leader. Luke was also a mainstay of Buccaneer Brass and rarely, if ever, missed a game! After graduation, Luke plans to become a band director. Thank you Luke, and Go Bucs!!

The following message is from Mr. Hopper, WRHS Band Director:

Hello 8th Grade Woodwind/Brass Players and Parents!

On April 17th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the West Ridge Band
will be hosting all 8th grade woodwind and brass players for a
marching band clinic. This is an opportunity for those that have
signed up for band, as well as those that are still trying to figure
it out. We invite everyone to come try out the marching band and
to be a part of the Inaugural West Ridge Band.

The clinic will be at Sullivan South High School in the auditorium.
Please wear athletic shoes and clothing to march in. Also, bring your instrument and music (if you have music for WR). If you are Baritone or Tuba, just bring your mouthpiece.

Parents, we will have a short meeting at 1:00 PM in the auditorium. We will be there to answer questions and hand out some information. If you have any fair share payments, we can take those as well. We will have some West Ridge Band T shirts ($20) to sell as well.
