This is a HUGE deal for Ted E. Bear Academy 🧸 and, more importantly, for the children and families 🧑🧑🧒🧒 we serve.
Beth Dodd, BS, BA, MS, EdS, CCC-SLP, has joined up with TEBA to provide in-house speech therapy 🗣️ services for children in need of this early intervention.
Beyond her credentials and experience, Beth is simply an incredible human being. Kind, patient, compassionate, and deeply invested in children, she embodies exactly the type of heart ❤️ we want surrounding the families at Ted E. Bear Academy.
This is such an important step forward for our center because many families face very real barriers in getting children to appointments: financial hardship, conflicting work schedules, transportation challenges, caring for multiple children, and simply finding the time can delay critical early intervention during some of the most important developmental years of a child’s life. By bringing these services directly into our center, we are helping remove those barriers and ensuring children receive support in a familiar, comfortable environment during their normal school day 🏫
Through grant funding that was originally planned for playground equipment, we made the decision to invest directly into something that can truly change the trajectory 📈 of a child’s development and future.
And, get this: the service is being provided at no additional cost to families and is included as part of the child’s tuition 🥳
We are beyond excited for what this means for our children, our families, and the future of Ted E. Bear Academy 🧸
