Operation Give Back

We loved having Sycamore’s, Work Study students and their staff, join us weekly at Operation Give Back to volunteer.

On Tuesday’s throughout the school year, students put bread bundle bags together to be given out to families in need, and on Thursday’s, they helped to bag up food for Piper’s Pantry—A NPO who helps folks in rural areas of Clermont County keep their animals fed by hosting monthly pop-up pantries.

These jobs kept the students engaged, helped them to work on various skills and most importantly, gave them an understanding that sometimes we don’t and won’t, see the lives we touch by volunteering.

This is what community looks like—Working together to make a difference in the lives of others (both human and furry). 🧡💚💙🐾

The Sycamore Community Schools was a huge success! We are grateful to every community member throughout the district who put supplies in the barrels, and all the volunteers on the back end, who sorted and stocked the pods/shelves

Like the shirt says, we ARE better and stronger together!!! Thank you, friends!!!

Our tutors are invaluable, and principals like Mr. Cole and Mrs. Zellner who respond quickly to requests for substitute tutors exemplify exceptional dedication. Your efforts, particularly during busy periods, are greatly appreciated, and the students are thrilled to have you visit and tutor them. You know you are extra special when kids are disappointed when the principal is NOT working with them! 🤗💚💛

We are grateful for ALL our amazing tutors for giving their time and energy to OGB throughout the school year. Tomorrow we will celebrate another great year thanks to the heart of OGB, AKA, VOLUNTEERS!

A heartfelt thank you to Matthew Vanderhorst, Community and Information Services Director for the City of Montgomery, Ohio Government, for coming to Operation Give Back today with a special delivery.

We are honored that the Montgomery Council approved a $2,500 grant award to Operation Give Back for our Winter Coat Drive! Thank you for recognizing our efforts with this grant—So many young lives in our community will be warmer because of your generosity! 🤗🧡💚💙
