On May 2, our community came together at Summit Park to celebrate Hispanic culture and heritage during the Hispanic Cultural Celebration, part of our Cultural Connections Under the Canopy series.

Shoutout to the Cincinnati Baila Dance Academy and Mambo Combo Cincinnati for bringing such incredible energy to the celebration!

We also want to spotlight a park favorite, Tahona Taqueria+Tequila Bar. Known for their scratch-made tacos and signature margaritas, it’s a great place to keep the celebration going today and any day. Stop by and enjoy the vibrant flavors of authentic Mexican street food right here at the park!

The City of Blue Ash is thrilled to once again bring you outstanding live music, stellar fireworks, and more at MadTree Red, White & Blue Ash 2026!

The July 4th event at Summit Park will feature powerhouse performances by Switchfoot and Fuel, the biggest and best fireworks from Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics, exciting carnival rides from Murray Bros., and mouthwatering food and drinks, for the ultimate Independence Day celebration.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m., live music starts at 6:00 p.m., and the fireworks will light up the night sky behind and from the Observation Tower at 10:00 p.m.

There will be new rules and extra security measures this year as well. MadTree Red, White & Blue Ash is a free event; no tickets are required. More info: www.blueash.com/rwba.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Today (4/22) at noon, Taylor will be cruising around Summit Park handing out free white oak trees thanks to the Ohio Valley Forestry Fellowship! 🌱 Keep an eye out for her on the golf cart and grab one while supplies last.

Also, meet Birdie ✨
She’s one of the oldest carts in the City of Blue Ash fleet and our retro, repurposed event queen. We’re giving her a little spotlight today —because sustainability never goes out of style.

The City of Blue Ash is announcing important updates and changes to this year's MadTree Red, White & Blue Ash celebration on July 4th at Summit Park. To bring you the best Independence Day celebration in the Tri-State, the event will have new safety measures and rules. To keep you informed and prepared, we are outlining them well in advance of the event.

New safety measures:
•Fenced perimeter with four designated entry and exit points. All entrances will be staffed by security personnel and under camera surveillance
•Glendale Milford Road will be closed from E. Lake Forest Dr. to the MadTree property located at 4321 Glendale Milford Rd., beginning at 3:00 p.m.
•Additional closures will be implemented along Glendale Milford Rd. as the night progresses. These closures will remain in place until the event has concluded, and traffic has cleared from the area

New rules:
•Event entrances will open at 3:30 pm. Attendees will not be allowed to enter early.
•No chair drop off prior to entrances opening
•No umbrellas
•No one under 18 will be admitted without a parent or guardian present
•All bags must be clear and not exceed the size of 16" x 16" x 8". Small clutches (no larger than 4.5" x6.5") are permitted
•All bags and carry-in items will be subject to search upon entry or at any time while inside the event
•Businesses within the festival perimeter may be accessed via the entrance on Summit Parkway. Contact the individual businesses for the most up-to-date July 4th hours. The event rules will apply at this entrance throughout the entire day.

These typical event rules will also be in place again this year:
•Foldable chairs and blankets are permitted
•No tents, stakes, tarps, canopies, or other coverings
•No coolers
•No outside alcohol
•No dogs or other pets

MadTree Red, White & Blue Ash on July 4th at Summit Park will feature Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnic Fireworks and a concert. The artist announcement is coming soon!

Big news for Summit Park—we’ve officially been named a stop on the Ohio River Birding Trail, a statewide initiative led by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Ohio Division of Wildlife! 🐦

With 130 acres of vibrant prairie, woodland edges, and pond habitat, Summit Park is alive with nature and home to more than 150 recorded bird species. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just out for a walk, there’s always something new to discover.
