Nicole's journey has not been an easy one. But her compassionate heart and commitment to supporting herself and her three children have made her very good at juggling. Currently working 3 jobs, Nicole ensures a stable home while she pursues her nursing degree. The JGF is proud to name Nicole as our newest Summer Scholarship winner. Congratulations, Ashley, winner of a JGF Summer Scholarship! Ashley found Caregiving to be a good fit for her needs as a young mom of 4. Flexibility in her schedule, connection with others, and the satisfaction of a job well done have inspired her to further her training, starting with her CNA certification. Here, Ashley talks about what this job has meant to her.

Dominique, passionate about Caregiving, reminds us all to never give up. Initially pursuing a nursing degree, she switched to a BA in Health Administration, which was an easier fit at the time. But Dominique felt the pull back to direct patient care and is on track to secure her LPN with the support of the JGF. Watch Dominique as she shares the impact of this scholarship on her journey.
