Nature Journaling is back for Fall — and our first gathering is TOMORROW morning!
From curious first graders to folks with decades of wonder under their belts—everyone is invited!
Join us Monday mornings in September for a gentle, creative hour exploring nature through words, sketches, observations, and curiosity. No art or science experience is needed. Just bring yourself and your sense of wonder—all art supplies are provided!
We’ll slow things down and notice the little details we often walk right past: the curl of a leaf, the path of an ant, the texture of bark, or the way sunlight falls across a flower. Then we’ll capture what we notice in our own unique way.

📍 Where: Main Ranch House at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park
🎒 Bring: Just you! Supplies are provided. If you have a favorite nature journaling tool, feel free to bring it along.
Kids, adults, grandparents, homeschoolers, experienced artists, enthusiastic doodlers, and people who swear they “can’t draw” are all welcome. Nature journaling isn’t about making perfect art—it’s about learning to look closely and becoming curious about what you see.
Come ready to slow down, look closer, ask questions, and let nature inspire your story.
Program Cost:
Nature Journaling is included with your park entrance fee.
$10 per vehicle for Nevada residents
$15 per vehicle for nonresidents
The Nevada State Parks Annual Pass is $100 and covers entrance fees at Nevada State Parks.
