It was wonderful connecting with constituents, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting new ones over a sweet treat. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and spent part of their afternoon with us!

Despite yesterday’s inclement weather, we were glad to be out in the community connecting with residents at the Worth Township Resource Fair!

My office had a great opportunity to meet residents, share helpful information, and connect attendees with resources and services available to them.

My office recently had the pleasure of participating in The Village of Calumet Park’s Community Fest. The weather didn’t stop the fun, and it was great seeing elected officials, residents, families, and friends come out to enjoy the festivities and spend time together.

Starting today, August 7, through August 16, Illinois families can take advantage of the Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday. During this 10-day period, the state portion of the sales tax will be reduced by 5% on qualifying school supplies, clothing, and footwear.

As families across the 28th District prepare for the new school year, I encourage residents to take advantage of these savings while purchasing classroom essentials and preparing students for a successful school year! 🎒📚✏️

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time for students to complete their summer reading and turn in their reading logs to my office for Bob’s Book Club!

In partnership with several local libraries throughout the 28th House District, Bob’s Book Club encourages young readers to stay engaged, build strong reading habits, and discover the joy of books all summer long.

If your student has been participating, don’t forget to submit their reading log before the deadline!

Four communities. One mission. Stronger connections! My office was proud to participate in National Night Out events across Oak Forest, City of Blue Island Illinois, Village of Midlothian, and Village of Posen!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, pick up information, and enjoy a freeze pop with us. Events like these remind us that strong communities are built through connection, partnership, and supporting our neighbors.
