PSA: Updated City Hall Hours!πŸ“’

City Hall is updating its public hours! After gathering community input regarding the Friday closure, City Hall will now be closed to the public on Mondays.

Beginning September 1 2026, City Hall will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including the lunch hour! On Wednesdays, City Hall will remain open until 6:00 p.m. to better accommodate community members who are unable to visit during regular business hours.

We understand that changes to City Hall hours may take some getting used to, and we appreciate your patience as we work to find a schedule that best serves our community and staff.

Your feedback is always welcome! If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the new hours, please contact City Hall or reach out to the City Clerk at [email protected].

πŸ‘‹πŸΌ Howdy!

This is your friendly reminder that we're nearing the end of the nomination period for candidates in this year's upcoming election!

We have two councilmember seats up for election, and to date, I have received only one candidate packet.

The nomination period ends Friday, August 7, at 5:00 p.m. If no incumbents file for reelection, the filing deadline will be extended to Wednesday, August 12, at 5:00 p.m.

There are also additional deadlines and requirements for anyone interested in becoming an official write-in candidate.

If you've been considering running, now is the time! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the process. See the election calendar below for important dates!
