These make me so happy— especially when I get requests to put them in the brick and mortar shops with whom I partner! Half are headed to Garden Wall Bookshop in Verona, and half are going to The Crafty in Mineral Point!

One of my favorite parts of creating floral suites for weddings is that every bride wants different colors/styles— I’m never bored!
My next wedding is between two regulars to my workshops— which is so much fun!
Used the airbrush to add a lovely depth to some of the flower styles, and set things up to really rock & roll tomorrow!

Completing these wedding florals wouldn’t have been possible without a lot of help— I need to take a minute to thank my wonderful mother-in-law and my niece, for helping me dye a LOT of flowers, not once but twice. I love spending time with you! 💛 Thank you to my soul sister Tracy, who came to the flower room to help me stem A LOT of flowers— I love how time just melts away, and we get to talking. 💛 A big ol thank you to my beagle bestie mama friend Amy, for making multiple trips to grab baby’s breath for me and saving me a whole lot of time (that was subsequently spent at the dog park!). 💛
And a HUGE thank you to my husband and son for helping deliver and install yesterday; for problem solving, lunch fetching, and all around calming me the heck down. 💛

This weary heart is so full tonight. I’ve been pretty quiet here the past few weeks because most of my energy has been spent creating the biggest wedding order of my career to date— for a former student. She and her family have such a special spot in my heart, and I worked my tail off, wanting so badly to make sure I helped to create the wedding of her dreams. Guys— I think I pulled it off. 💐
Not only that, but because lots of her and her hubby’s friends were from their school days, I got to see (and HUG!!) at least a dozen former students. Honestly, I was a little nervous, hoping I didn’t get an “ew” face from anyone! It was quite the opposite. The way a couple of them had their eyes pop out at the sight of me! The sweet conversations I got to have, and the updates I got from these adults that I knew as awkward middle schoolers. Bliss. 🩷
Bryn and Zach— congratulations, and again— thank you for trusting me with this task. I’m so thankful that you were happy with my work. Scott and Cheryl, you raised 3 incredible humans.
Thanks for the hugs and wonderful conversations: Darby, Shay, Jake, Blake, Hayden, Elizabeth, Caroline, Kevin, Drake, Mitchell, Marquez, Hunter (and your gorgeous fiance!) and Hailey. You truly made this such a special night. 💖

Christmas in July might be over, but I just can’t keep this little darling to myself!! Did I tell you I became a GREAT AUNT this year? I can’t wait to give this to our sweet great nephew, Kayce! Come to think of it, there are a couple of wee babes that will be getting one of these this year! 🎄
These will be debuting at Makers Market Square in MoHo this weekend— but if you want me to set one aside for you, let me know!
