We had a wonderful time introducing our Summer Reading Program theme, "Unearth a Story" to the Valley Heights 3rd grade class. Thanks so much to Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Grable, Connie Nugent, Heather Dreith, and Kadence Pierson for making it a success! Our Summer Reading Program officially begins on Friday, May 22nd, with our Independent Reading sign-up. Be on the lookout for our Summer programming schedule, coming soon!

It was a beautiful morning for our last Spring Story Hour session. Our guest reader/leader today was Heather Dreith! She read, "Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt", by Kate Messner, "Busy Spring" by Sean Taylor and " When Spring Comes" by Ekaterina Trukhan. The kids made the cutest spring flower craft and following that, we had delicious flower cookies. After Story Hour is over, there is always time to do puzzles, chat, read and check out books. Archer returned his books in one of the bags that Kathy Crawford generously made for the children to decorate and keep. If there are any children that didn't have a chance to decorate one, please stop in and either use our fabric paint or take one home to decorate. Thanks Heather, Kathy and all of our wonderful volunteers, parents, grandparents and caregivers that made Spring Story Hour so much fun!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Boozy Book Exchange on Saturday! It was so nice to chat with fellow book lovers and discuss our favorite books and Authors. We had good food and drinks and a wide variety of books to select from. The only negative from the day is that now my TBR list is so much longer...lol. I guess that is a good problem to have!
