ue Ridge Fire Department is asking for donations of Gatorade and water. Donations can be dropped off at City Hall or Fire Department.

On 08-13-2026 the Blue Ridge Fire Department worked a grass fire in the 16000 block of Farm Market 981. One of the firefighters lost a yellow handheld radio after the fire. It’s possible it fell off one of the fire apparatus when it left the scene. If anyone found this radio on the roadway, please return it to the Fire Department, or call 214-674-8236 and someone will come pick it up. Thank you.

The Blue Ridge Fire Department was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from the Texas A&M Forest Service. This money will go towards new Personal Protective Equipment for our firefighters. Thank you for the opportunity to better protect our firefighters who serve the community.

1:36PM- Blue Ridge Fire Department along with several other fire departments are working a structure fire in the 12000 Block of CR 707 in Blue Ridge. Please stay clear of the area while firefighters work to contain the fire.

UPDATE: 2:13PM- The fire has been contained and crews are mopping up.
