A woman with strong ties to Georgia is missing after a devastating disaster in the Himalayas 💔

Mary Sorensen is missing following the catastrophic glacier collapse and flash flooding in the Himalayan region along the Nepal-China border.

Her family and friends are desperately hoping for any information that could help locate her.

Mary and Brian Wildeman have both dedicated their lives to serving others.

Many in Cherokee County will recognize Brian as a retired Captain with Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services.

Brian’s loved ones are asking that people not contact him directly right now, so he can keep his line open for any important information regarding Mary.
