🇺🇸❤️🤍💙In celebration of 250 Years of Freedom, we thought the best parade theme would be "Red, White, and Blue, Honoring Our Hometown Veterans" ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

With that being said, we thought our very own Hometown Veterans would make the best Parade Marshals. We would love to invite anyone who is a Veteran in our Fire District and surrounding area to walk/ride through the parade. If you would like to walk/ride through the parade please reach out to Lyndi Degenhardt at 608-485-0980 or you can message the Fire Dept page. Please spread the word.

Parade is August 30th at 2pm, line up is at 1pm.

We had the cutest visitors from Eagle Badgers 4-H Club surprise us at our meeting this evening. They presented us with a red, white, and blue themed basket and a handmade card. What a thoughtful gesture! This 4-H group has quite a few members that volunteer at our steak feed annually and they sure are hard workers. We appreciate Eagle Badgers 4-H Club! 🚑Happy EMS Week!🚑

The theme this year is "Improving Outcomes, Together". Blue River EMS is comprised entirely of volunteers. We respond to approximately 70 emergency calls annually. Our team consists of 1 RN, 5 B-EMTs, 2 A-EMTs, and 3 EMRs. Each member balances their volunteer work with full-time employment, some holding multiple jobs, and many raising families. Please join us in acknowledging the dedication and commitment of this exceptional team.

Our Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 8am-12pm at the Blue River Community Building. Prices are as follows: Adults: $8, 12 and under: $4.
