Call 911 for Emergencies

05/29/2026

The following video shows our officers responding to a reported robbery call. This incident highlights how citizens, dispatchers, officers, and Flock technology all work together to help keep our community safe.

In less than one hour, officers were able to locate and arrest two suspects, one was later charged with a felony related to this incident. Great work by everyone involved.

Flock allows our officers to use real-time information to quickly identify and locate suspects, helping get criminals off the street faster and making our community safer.

What does Blue Springs mean to you?

The City of Blue Springs is beginning the process of creating a new city flag, and we want your input.

A city flag should represent the people, places, history and spirit that make our community unique. Whether it’s a landmark, tradition, value, color or simply a feeling you associate with Blue Springs, we’d love to hear from you.

Take a few minutes to complete our short survey and help shape a flag that reflects our community’s identity and pride.

Take the survey here: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/VOSnjNs

Your feedback will help guide the design process and create something Blue Springs can proudly fly for years to come. An image of the current flag is attached in this post.

We’re excited to welcome him back home to BSPD, where his experience and leadership will continue to serve our community well as he joins our Patrol Division.
