Make New Friends with Our Pen Pal Program!
Are you looking to make new friends? Join our Pen Pal Program and connect with a student from Shreveport, LA! The library is excited to launch this initiative for elementary through high school students eager to reach out.

Program Details:
*Participants will be matched with Shreveport, LA students of similar ages.
*Letters will be dropped off and collected at the library, so personal addresses are not necessary.
*Registration is required and must be completed in person at the library.
*A parent’s signature is needed for minors to participate.
*During registration, participants will fill out a questionnaire to match them with a student from the Broadmoor Resource Center of the Shreveport Library.
*After receiving their first letter, students will have 7-10 days to respond.
*All supplies will be provided by the library.
