Sullivan East Middle School would like to extend our warmest wishes to Mr. Hank Hare on his retirement after 32 years of dedicated leadership and service! Mr. Hare helped lead as Assistant Principal when our school opened before serving the last five years as Principal at Bluff City Elementary School. His legacy in our school and others in our school system is immeasurable.
Congrats, Mr. Hare, and enjoy!
From the Bluff City family to one of our absolute best: Happy Retirement, Mr. Hank Hare! After 32 years of incredible dedication and service to the East Zone, Mr. Hare is officially retiring. His roots run deep here—from his days as an East High alumnus, teacher, and coach, to his time serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Mary Hughes. When East Middle School first opened its doors, he was there to help lead the way as assistant principal.
For the last five years, we have been lucky enough to have him as our head principal here at "The Bluff", where he has poured his heart and soul into our students, faculty, staff, and community every single day. Mr. Hare, thank you for giving so much of yourself to the Grizzly Family and for making all of us better. You will be greatly missed!
