• Duplicate comments posted repeatedly within a short period of time by the same user.
• Comments containing defamation against a person, either as determined by a court or comments that are patently defamatory by easily discovered facts.

• Comments that may compromise the safety or security of public systems.
• Comments that contain information that directly interferes with or compromises ongoing investigations, public safety tactics, or the safety of public safety officers. Repeated violations of these policies may result in blocking or banning the comment poster (more than three violations in a 12-month period). The decision to delete or hide a comment or to ban or block a comment poster may be appealed by sending an email to the site administrator within 5 days explaining why the person believes the decision was in error. If the decision is overturned, the comment may (if possible) be restored, or the user may be allowed to repost the comment, or the comment poster may be unbanned or unblocked. The decision of the site administrator is the final decision of the City. A banned or blocked user may request to be unbanned 12 months after the ban or block.
