Sun City HH Book Exchange

Sun City HH Book Exchange The Book Exchange is open weekdays 10-6; weekends 10-4. Club Membership dues are $1/year. The Book Exchange has had several "homes" in Sun City since 1998.

In 2022 we relocated from Pinckney Hall to Palmetto Commons. We are located at the Southwest end of the Commons, on the right as you face the building. Please look for the signs. The Club has grown exponentially, and now has over 2500 members. Our collection includes hard-cover and paperback books, large print books, movies, audio books, and jigsaw puzzles. There are "Satellite" bookcases at the

Lakehouse and Riverbend as well. Members may request specific titles which will be reserved for them. Donations are welcome, as long as they fall within the posted guidelines. SPEAKING OF BOOKS, a forum for members to share books they've enjoyed, meets on the SECOND SATURDAY of each month( from 10:30AM -12 noon) in the Tupelo Room, across the hall from the Book Exchange. Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance, at the Book Exchange desk. Holiday closures are as follows:

SPEAKING OF BOOKS:

Our next SPEAKING OF BOOKS will be on SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, in the Tupelo Room (across from the Book Exchange).

There will be two sessions of Speaking of Books: Morning from 10:30 am till noon and Afternoon from 2pm till 3:30pm.

Please join us to share a favorite book, new or old. If you do not have a book to present, you are welcome to come, listen, and join in on the discussion. You can review any book you wish, even if it has been previously reviewed.

A short summary of your book should be no longer than 5 minutes.
If you have two books and time allows, we will go around the table a second time.

The sign-up sheet is available at the reception desk at the Book Exchange.
Sign up for morning or afternoon...or both.
(It is not mandatory to sign up; it just gives us an idea of how many members to expect.)
