Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 AM - 5 PM.
Lancaster Elementary School Parking Lot

1. Do we take mattresses? Yes, we take any mattresses, box springs, bed frames, and headboards. They do not have to be wrapped or bagged.

2. How many tires can you bring? We do not have a limit, except that if we fill the 53-foot tire trailer, we will stop accepting them once we hit capacity. Come early. They must be off their rims.

3. Do we take paint or liquid cans? Yes, but any can with liquids needs to be thickened, and the cans must be sealed or the contents removed.

4. Do you take propane tanks? Only if they are cut open to verify that they are empty and free of pressure.

5. Do we take batteries? Yes, lead-acid batteries can be scrapped, and other batteries can be placed in the dumpsters.

6. Do we take appliances? Yes, we take any appliances or appliance parts.

7. What types of trash can you bring? Anything except for what is mentioned above. If you have many heavy items (concrete, bricks, shingles, and other similar items), we may need to split the contents across multiple dumpsters.

8. Are there any fees? No, there are no fees at all.

9. Who gets the scrap value? Scrap donated at the event supports the Norwell Band, which is providing the volunteers for the event.
