This is an exciting time for students, families, and our entire community as we celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s graduates across Beaufort County!

Please be advised that increased traffic and delays are expected around local schools and graduation venues during ceremony dates. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and use caution in these areas. Also, please refer to the Beaufort County School District and/or specific school regarding additional notices to include any potential weather-related scheduling.

Bluffton Town offices will open at 9 am Wednesday, May 20, due to internal hurricane training.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. This delay will allow all employees to attend this mandatory training.

UPDATE: We are aware of numerous rumors circulating on social media regarding last week’s incident at May River High School.

While the investigation remains active and certain details cannot be released, the Beaufort County School District and Bluffton Police Department are sharing confirmed factual information with families and the community.

Normal school operations have largely resumed, and the investigation remains ongoing. We encourage parents to speak with students about making responsible choices and understanding the serious consequences that can result from vandalism and damage to school property.
