Good morning my friends. It is with a heavy heart that I have resigned from the office of Mayor. Last night was a perfect example of council members should not bring their personal agenda to a meeting. City Council voted 3 to 2. Councilman LaJoie and myself voted to keep our lawyer while the others voted to fire our city attorney because of their personal reasons.
I ask all citizens to do your research before voting and if someone has or is on council check how they voted on issues. Don't vote for someone because you know them . As this is my post on this site I want you to know that I leave with the most professional Police Department we have ever had. Mrs Chancey will continue the great job she does and I would like to thank her for her knowledge and support. The library has a wonderful Librarian and without the drama of a library board. Thank you for your support and I ask again to please get involved and hold your Mayor and city council accountable

We are now 100 percent on Blythe water. Pumps 1 and 2 are running but we are still using an excessive amount of water for this time of year. Please check you spigot and under your house for leaks. A lot of folks have come home after the holidays and found leaks. Thank you again for your cooperation.

Update on the water situation in Blythe. Please check your property for leaks. Several leaks have been located and fixed but it is believed there are more. Please take the time to check all your properties. If the leaks or on the city side of the meter Please notify us as we cannot repair leaks on the property owners side of the meter. The water problem is an act of nature its no one's fault Please check your property and we will get through this.

Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you all have a Merry Christmas. And thanks to our water superintendent for your quick response and getting the water running
