Starting Monday, June 5, 2023, the Dog Park will be closed for renovations and completion of the construction project. Please check back for updates and a reopening date.

Dog Park will be open starting Saturday, April 1, 2023. We hope to see you there!

Come Visit! The park will reopen Saturday, April 1, 2023 with limited amenities.

🐾We are "PAWS-itively" thrilled to announce Wheeler Road Community Park will reopen with limited amenities on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Amenities will include tennis courts, restrooms, and a section of the new dog park.

Construciton on the dog park began in June 2022 and was delayed due to Hurricane Ian. The park was used post hurricane as a debris site for the Boca Grande community. Once construction will resume to finalize the park, the park will close until the project is complete. Future amenities will include dog waste stations, pavilion shelters, seating, and fencing repairs.
